Subject: Request for Extended Lunch Period for Year 7 Students
I hope this letter reaches you well. My name is Tim Brown, and I am a Year 7 student at the school. I am writing to express a concern that my friends and I in Year 7 have, regarding the duration of our lunch period.
As you may be aware, Year 7 students are currently scheduled to have lunch last, and as a result, we have only a limited amount of time to finish our meals during the lunch break. I believe that extending the lunch period for Year 7 students would greatly benefit us by providing more time to eat.
A longer lunch break would not only contribute to our overall well-being but also foster a more positive and inclusive school environment. It would allow us to promote a healthier lifestyle by ensuring adequate time for a balanced meal.
I understand that school schedules can be challenging to adjust, but I believe that the positive impact on student well-being and engagement would be well worth the consideration. Most of the time if you bring the food that you have paid for with your hard-earned money, the teacher will tell you to throw it away and give you a level.
I would like to propose that a committee of students, teachers, and administrators be formed to further explore the feasibility of this suggestion and to collaborate on finding a suitable solution.
